innoMask Technologies is a medtech research and development startup company, working in the field of supraglottic airway management devices. We are working on the next generation of laryngeal masks, that provide secure and fast airway management during anesthesia. When developing innoMask, our mission was to invent the most atraumatic device, that is both beneficial for medical professionals and patients. Our laryngeal mask does not only ensure a non-traumatic postoperative experience for patients, but allows an easier, atraumatic insertion and placement for medical executors.
How innoMask works
What makes innoMask a real game changer, is a major size reduction of the device’s ready-to- insert state. This was achieved by integrating the inflatable sealing balloon into the head of the device, which resulted in innoMask becoming the narrowest laryngeal mask ever made. Once, when the device is inserted into the patient, the balloon can be inflated with a standard syringe. The inflated laryngeal mask seals the airways, providing a secure and stable airway management. At the end of the therapy, the balloon can be simply deflated, allowing its removal to be quick and still atraumatic. These features reduce costs and the duration of the procedures. They also minimize the overall traumatic impacts and the potential postoperative care and labor needed.

Our innovative solution makes innoMask approximately 50% smaller and narrower during insertion, compared to the laryngeal masks currently used. At the same time, provides secure provides secure sealing after getting inflated and placed to its final position.
